How Do You Like Your Coffee?
It’s a simple question, one that is asked in restaurants and coffee shops and kitchens daily, thousands of times . . . but is it asked at the coffee stand you frequent?
At Madres Espresso, it’s a question we ask often. Why? Because we want your visit to our Cooper Point coffee stand, or our Pacific Avenue coffee shop, to be a satisfying experience.
We recently had a customer come to our Pacific Avenue location; he told us his doctor instructed him to no longer eat sugar. Since his drink of choice was a mocha, something he had every morning, he was at a loss as to what he could order. What would be sugar-free, have caffeine, and taste good? That was our rallying cry, and after a few moments of discussion, owner and barista, we came up with a drink which met the doctor’s orders and still satisfied our regular customer.
Why did we take the time to solve the problem?
Because we are locally owned and operated, and in every respect that customer was our neighbor here in Olympia.
And neighbors help neighbors!
We could have easily thrown up our hands and said we had no recommendation. That would have been the simple thing to do. There were cars lined up behind that customer; we were busy, and we had every excuse just to move on to the next customer.
But that’s just not our way at Madres Espresso.
Neighbors help neighbors!
