Attention to Details Matters in Coffee

A coffee is a coffee is a coffee, right?  A mocha is a mocha is a mocha, right?

Wrong!

At Madres Espresso, we understand the individual tastes of our customers. We get it, everyone is different, and a vanilla latte for one person may mean a completely different thing to another customer.

Here’s what happens when you drive up to our coffee stand.  We greet you with a smile. We ask you what you want.  Let’s say the customer says a peppermint mocha.  A pretty simple request, for sure, but there’s a bit more to it.  The next questions, which we believe should be asked by any barista, is this one: how do you like yours?  What kind of milk? How much flavor do you prefer? How hot do you like it?

It would be very easy to not ask those questions.  Not asking those questions if fairly common in this business.  Drinks are created daily, across the country, as quickly and as efficiently as possible, volume being the name of the game, not quality.

That’s just not our way.  Stop by. Tell us what you want and tell us how you like it.  Our goal is for you to drive away, drink in hand, with a smile on your face after you take that first sip.

That’s the Madres Espresso way, and we have no plans on changing anytime soon.
