Coffee Stand Language: What Does it all Mean?

We have to remind ourselves, every once in a while, that not everyone who comes to our coffee stand understands all of the “fancy” words describing various coffee drinks.  Words like mocha, cappuccino, espresso, Americano, Breve . . . to someone not versed in this language, we might as well be speaking Swahili to them.

Would you like to know a secret? You don’t have to speak “our coffee language.” Just stop by our coffee stand, tell the barista what kind of drink you like, and we will take it from there.  You can say something like “I want a drip coffee with some chocolate mixed in,” and we will figure it out.

Just don’t order in Swahili. That’s one language we do not speak.

Madres Espresso, two coffee stands, Cooper Point Road and Pacific Avenue, and one singular purpose: to provide the best customer service possible.  Spread the word, tell your friends and family, we would love to meet them all.
